A rare opportunity to acquire an exceptional example of the IWC Ingenieur Ref. 666AD, dating to the 1960s. This watch features a highly desirable original black gilt “Swiss only” dial, characteristic of early production. The dial is in outstanding condition, retaining a deep, mirror-like glossy finish with rich tone and crisp gilt printing. The stainless steel case remains strong and well-defined, showing only light, honest wear. Inside, the watch is powered by the correct IWC Caliber 8531 automatic movement with Pellaton winding system, and protected by the Ingenieur’s signature anti-magnetic soft iron construction. The watch is fitted with a genuine Gay Frères beads-of-rice bracelet, period-correct and highly collectible, in very good condition with minimal stretch and a signed clasp. ⸻ Highlights: • Rare gilt “Swiss only” dial (early production) • Exceptional glossy dial preservation • Correct Cal. 8531 movement (Pellaton winding) • Anti-magnetic Ingenieur construction • Genuine Gay Frères bracelet • Collector-grade, honest example Watch only. Pure art..
