This Titus Genève is a perfect example of classic Swiss watchmaking from the 1940s and 1950s, a timepiece that combines functional elegance with a strong vintage identity. The steel case, with its slender, well-proportioned lugs, houses a honey-colored dial enhanced by a natural patina that bears witness to the passage of time and gives the watch a unique character. The design is exceptionally harmonious: generously sized applied Arabic numerals ensure excellent readability, while the railway-style minute track along the perimeter evokes the aesthetic codes of classic mid-20th-century watchmaking. The fire-blued hands create a refined chromatic contrast with the warm dial, adding depth and dynamism to the composition. At 6 o’clock sits the small seconds sub-dial, discreetly integrated into the dial and perfectly balanced within the overall design. Inside beats a 16-jewel Titus manual-winding mechanical movement, manufactured in Switzerland and characterized by a solid and reliable construction, with decorated bridges and a structure typical of the era’s production. A timepiece of great charm, capable of expressing all the stylistic purity of vintage watchmaking: essential, elegant, and authentic.
