New, from an official Venetian dealer in Bergamo. The warranty will be activated and filled out on the day of the order. Venice is a city that changes over time. The lagoon’s water, the salty air, and the humidity slowly transform the metals in its architecture. A green-turquoise patina called verdigris forms on domes, statues, and decorative surfaces made of copper and brass—one of the most recognizable hues of the Venetian landscape. The dial of the Nereide Verdigris draws inspiration from this transformation. Crafted from brass, it undergoes a controlled oxidation process that produces the characteristic patina, creating shades ranging from green to turquoise to blue. Each dial is slightly unique and evokes the colors of Venetian metals exposed to the elements and the lagoon. Case material: 316L steel Dial: Brass with a verdigris patina achieved through a handcrafted process of controlled oxidation and flame-treatment Dimensions: Ø42mm, lug-to-lug 49mm Movement: Swiss Made Cal. Copper and brass, exposed to the lagoon’s air, gradually develop a characteristic verdigris patina, with shades ranging from green to turquoise. This natural phenomenon became the inspiration for the project: to transfer those same shades and that same textural quality to the Nereide dial. Material and Transformation The Nereide Verdigris dial is crafted from a brass base. Through a handcrafted process of controlled oxidation and flame treatment, the surface develops its characteristic patina, rich in texture and chromatic variations. Each sheet reacts slightly differently, generating unpredictable patterns that make every dial unique. The Colors of Venice Copper domes, statues, and architectural details slowly change over the years, developing shades of green and turquoise that characterize the city’s landscape. These hues, born of time and the elements, are a constant source of inspiration for our creations.
