The reborn "Takano," revived by Tokyo Clock Precision under the leadership of master craftsman Hajime Asaoka. The commemorative first model, the "Chateau Nouveau Chronometer" with its black dial, is now in stock. The Château Nouveau Chronometer is Japan's first model to pass the rigorous chronometer certification of the Besançon Observatory. Its Zaratsu-polished case emits a flawless, beautiful brilliance, while the faceted lugs, seamlessly integrated with the case, exude elegance. The hour and minute hands, curved like sword tips to echo the domed crystal and bombé dial, feature Mr. Asaoka's iconic skyscraper-shaped hands. The movement was adjusted by Tokyo Clock Precision and obtained the Besançon Observatory Chronometer certification. The dial bears the inscription "Chronometer," marking the first time this designation appears on a 21st-century Japanese-made watch.
