sinn 140 b "pre D1" Chronograph - Automatic in 44 mm (measured without crown) in great condition. Reference number: 140B Age of the watch: ca. 1978 - 1982 This is an early 140 b, Pre D1. Since the watch does not yet have a D1 engraving on the lid, is powered by the Lemania 5012 and not the 5100, has a white date and no lines on the tachymeter ring, the construction period can be narrowed down quite precisely to between 1978 and 1982. The watch comes in an original Sinn box of recent date and with a revision invoice and supplement. In April 2018, the watch underwent an extensive overhaul at Sinn for 467 euros (invoice enclosed). Fitted is an original Sinn steel bracelet with folding clasp in a good length, suitable up to a wrist circumference of around 20 cm. Despite being over 40 years old, the watch still measures a more than up-to-date 44 mm, which makes it look perfect on the wrist. During our test on the time scale, the watch ran very well at around - 1 s / with an amplitude of 271 degrees. All functions are flawless, the chronograph zeros cleanly and the reset works perfectly.
