Only worn for photography and functionality checks. • Package: 100% Full Set (Original box, all papers/manuals) + TWO premium Kudu Antelope leather straps (OEM Favre-Leuba strap and Titanium Buckle + Hirsch 08564030-2-22 Tritone Kudu Strap with quick Release). • Pricing: Realistically priced as probably the cleanest, most complete, and most field-tested Bivouac 9000 available on the market right now. Favre Leuba Bivouac 9000 is offered from the second oldest Swiss brand, after Blancpain which was founded in 1735. This model is the top tier model of this brand and the only mechanical wristwatch with incorporated barometer and altimeter on Earth capable of displaying the altitude from 0 to 9,000m using an integrated aneroid capsule system. It is also one of the very few mechanical wristwatches ever produced with a built-in mechanical altimeter. The barometer, altimeter, power reserve indicator and the watch itself work perfectly, photo captured on 28.08.2026 near one of the highest picks of Romania (2292m) perfectly alignated with the red indicator shown by the external bezel of the watch 23x100m. The watch was only worn to take pictures and check functionality. The Bivouac 9000 had a retail price of 7,500 CHF(swiss francs). It is a discontinued model featuring a rare triple complication: a barometer, an altimeter, and a power reserve indicator. Original condition with no visible signs of wear. The case, crystal, and bezel are clean. The Favre-Leuba Raider Bivouac 9000 case is crafted from Grade-5 titanium. This durable and hypoallergenic alloy ensures that the massive mechanical altimeter watch remains lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. The alpinist Adrian Ballinger used this model to climb Everest as shown in the photo attached. So the altimeter was tested and confirmed to reach that height. As a wrist presence you can see my first photo, i have 19cm wrist and it fits well. The watch combines serious engineering with robust sport design, making it both a technical instrument and a distinctive collector’s piece. I recommend reading escapementmagazine dot com article about Favre Leuba Bivouac 9000 that is fascinanting. Gr.5 Titanium case and buckle FL311 manual-wind movement derived from the Eterna Caliber 39 (3903.M), equipped with an in-house barometer and altimeter module. Power reserve indicator, 65 hours power reserve Rotating bezel that measures up to 3000 height that can be rotated 3 times for the full 9000m measurement. The Bivouac 9000 is no longer available being discontinued becoming rare and a good investment, it might represent a rare opportunity to own a modern mechanical instrument watch with genuine historical roots and might be a good addition for collectors of rare complications. Sold as is. Fast Shipment via DHL Express fully insured Personal handover is also possible in the Sinaia - Brasov area(>2000m H) or Bucharest where the altimeter can be tested on spot. I always appreciate face-to-face meetings, as they allow the buyer ample time to inspect the watch thoroughly and verify it at any local watchmaker of their choice.
