Offered For Sale is a NOS Wittnauer 2000 "Time Machine" Wrist Watch. Never worn, still with the price tag on it. AND, in its original box! A very cool watch from the early 1970's! This watch came out in 1970-71, in production until 1975. Case size is 42mm. No scratches or dings to speak of. I really don't think this one was ever out of its box! All functions work. The watch is Working fine. The calendar runs from 1971-2015. You can still use the monthly date calendar at the 12 by adjusting the day to synchronize with the days of the week it would fall on. Day/Date features at the 3 change at midnight, but it is NOT instantaneous. ONE MORE THING - This watch has an ORIENT or SEIKO movement, which in those days did NOT have a winding pinion in it. The ONLY way to get this watch going is to shake it for a minute or 2 to get the watch started and wound. Once you wear it daily, the selfwinding will wind the watch all the way up to a full wind.
