Up For Sale is a vintage NIVADA Taravana GLX 50ATM Automatic Dive Watch. It takes its design cues from many iconic dive watches from the 70's (Eterna Super KonTiki, Benthos 500, Scubapro 500, and Omega Seamaster 600/1200). I would rate this watch in excellent vintage condition as evidence by the pictures. The watch is 100% original parts. The original unpolished case has crisp edges, sunburst sides, and a mirrored finish on top. It does have some scratches but no dings, dents, or scars. The screw-in water resistant caseback also has scratches but the Nivada logo is crisp and very legible. The watch measures 40mm wide (not incl. crown), 46mm from lug to lug (end to end) and 15mm thick. The blue dial is absolutely in perfect condition with no fading or spotting. The green-hued Tritium stick markers glow is faint (almost non existent) when exposed to light. The mercedes hands show evidence of oxidation which is common with vintage divers. The original unsigned screw lock crown screws down tight. Winding, quickset date and non-hacking time-set positions are all operating as they should. The unidirectional rotating bezel is tight with sharp well defined clicks. The blue/silver elapsed time bezel is in almost perfect condition The original mineral crystal has a couple small scratches but does not impede viewing. The 17-jewel full rotor automatic Nivada-signed ETA cal. 2784 movement is running strong but has not been timed. It will come mounted on a new unworn 20mm blue ToxicNato strap. I make NO guarantees for the water resistance of the watch. No box or papers. Comes with Generic Watch Box
