IWC has developed the Valjoux base movement into a perpetual calendar with moon phase and four-digit year display, a chronograph, and a minute repeater function. The development of the movement took seven years, and no fewer than 12 patents were registered for this model. An incredible watch and still one of the best offers on the market with a grand complication. The chronograph was purchased in 1993 from a jeweler and master watchmaker in Eisenstadt and has been in our possession ever since. It is in absolutely mint condition, as the watch was worn very rarely and served only as a collector's item. In the fall of 2025, the Grande Complication was sent to iwc Munich for a general service.
