I am selling one of my grail watches due to it never getting wrist time. It's in wonderful condition for a vintage watch and mechanically terrific. This was purchased by me from Jacek at Tropical Watch. He was formerly with HQ Milton and this watch was previously sold through HQ Milton before coming back to Jacek and into my hands. So it has some interesting and recent history. Last I checked, both of their websites still showed the watch as sold. From Tropical Watch's listing, Jacek described the condition as "The excellent case shows thick bevels and some wear from use. The bezel is also in excellent condition showing only light wear from use. The grey and black dial is excellent showing only light wear from use. The lume has aged to a warm and creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. The 12 link oyster bracelet is excellent showing some light stretch for i's age. The faded bezel and fun dial make this a special piece" Furthermore, Jacek told me that it is fully original except for the replacement crystal. This, however, is a period correct crystal. Af the time of my purchase in 2022, Giovanni Passalacqua of the Independent Service Center of San Francisco made an adjustment to the hands which were misaligned. He also checked the watches regulation and performed a pressure test - both of which showed the watch to be mechanically perfect. From my eye, the watch is gorgeous and in beautiful condition with the only notable thing being a swirl and slight indent on the clasp. This is shown in the pics and was never a concern given its location on the underside of my wrist. Also, a period correct replacement clasp would be easy to add at any time - but why both since this is the part that would get the most wear anyways.... The watch is ready to be enjoyed and worn!
