A single-push-button coaxial chronograph from the Swiss watchmaker Le Phare. The brand is famous for its luxury pocket watches; this is its first wrist chronograph model. The watch dates from between 1915 and 1920. The chronograph features a single push-button with the rare characteristic of having the coaxial push-button integrated into the winding crown. 37mm case excluding the crown, hinged case back, both in 18kt gold with hallmarks. Fixed lugs. Original and perfectly preserved ceramic dial, Arabic numerals, and Breguet hands. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock and chronograph minutes sub-dial at 3 o’clock. Silkscreened external tachymeter scale, perfectly legible. Valjoux 22 manual-winding movement, column wheel. The watch is in working order, keeps good time, and the chronograph starts and resets perfectly.
