Reutter Atmos 1290 Atmos - my secret love when it comes to watches. The discovery of slowness - anyone who has ever watched an old Atmos at "work" will understand me. From the simple 2-hand watch to 10 or more complications in one watch - all of them only need differences in air pressure and work on their own. I only offer watches here that have been in my possession for some time and have been serviced if the movement did not meet my expectations. Some of them have also been refurbished, which, unlike many other watches, is not sacrilege. Shipping an Atmos is a sensitive issue, so I prefer to avoid it. Anyone who collects "their" Atmos from me will receive a direct discount of Euro 100.00. On the other hand, such a watch can also be shipped. In this case, please accept the (domestic) shipping fee of Euro 85.00. Thank you very much! Here comes the predecessor of the jlc Atmos for sale: A very early Reutter in a metal case and original condition. The watch was probably made before 1930, considering the serial number 1290 - it is therefore almost 100 years old! Should be one of the very first. The dial has never been refurbished, the "Reutter" identification is present, as is the small plate on the back. The serial can also be found on the inside of the metal back. The case has therefore also not been refurbished or repainted. The watch is in very well-kept condition, its age only becomes apparent at second glance. An important early Reutter/Atmos! The clock runs very well (currently at plus 1 minute/3 days) and its unique Art Deco design makes it suitable for both living areas and upmarket offices. Scope of delivery: Clock only. Atmos is my big love among the watches. Please understand that i am very restrictive shipping these abroad due to the possible probs. If you really want one of my Atmos shipped anywhere in the world, contact me directly. This is a real early Reutter Atmos in metal case and original condition. According to the serial the watch was manufactured before 1930 at the beginning of Reutter`s production. The dial was never re-worked or touched up, the Reutter signature is still present also the small little batch on the back. This clock is nearly 100 years old! At the moment it runs with 1 minute fast/3 days- not bad for such an old timepiece!?
