Valterri is a 10-time race winner and finished runner-up to Lewis Hamilton in the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in 2019 and 2020 with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. The inspiration behind the timepiece focuses off-track priorities such as rest, recovery, escape and reconnection with the calm of Finland's northern heartland and its spellbinding night sky. This is the first collaboration between Sarpaneva and Valterri Bottas. A prior collaboration was created with S.U.F Helsinki, which is known as the 'VB77'.
