The 41mm titanium case carries a fixed ceramic bezel chosen for its durability and depth of finish, with 5 ATM water resistance and a second time zone making the watch as functional on travel as it is on the water. The glass-pearled finish of the case and bracelet gives the TYPE 7 a surface that holds up under daily use without losing its character. The defining feature of both new variants is the oil-filled dial. The ROCS system fills the space between the sapphire crystal and the dial with a clear non-conductive fluid, eliminating the air gap that causes reflection and refraction in conventional watches. On the Black, the effect is at its most pronounced: white indices read against the deepest possible background with a contrast that is immediate and unambiguous. On the Cactus, the oil chamber deepens a warm green calibrated specifically for Grade 5 titanium, sitting naturally against the metal’s subtle yellow undertone and reading richer on the wrist than photographs suggest.
